This is a painting from Monday which was a very hot, humid day.  The sky was overcast and featureless, but the reflection of the sky in the water was limpid and liquid - beautiful.

Off Radke Road

I spent some very pleasant hours this afternoon with my friend, Marina, painting the Ottawa River.  My first painting was not very successful so I very quickly mixed some colour and put this small painting down.  After I came home I made some small adjustments to the floating dock on the right side of the sketch then felt it was done.
